Last talk delivered on Sunday. So, our final few days will be completely work free! Jonny's going for a boys' golf day. I'm enjoying mother-daughter time...

Very lazy

Sorry folks. We did do an update earlier this week, but we mustn't have posted it correctly. Promise to be regular again from now on...

Irish food

...is phenomenal! As are Irish people! It's great being home.

On home turf

Have eaten scones, wheaten, Cadbury's roses, truffles, Pringles, rice pudding, a chicken roll. Need to get back to running after one day at home!

Almost home

In Gatwick airport. Tired and freezing! But nearly home...

All packed...

Case packed, house tidied, lifts to the airport organised...  This time tomorrow, we'll be somewhere over Eastern Europe!

Answers on a postcard?

I'm guessing most people have submitted their guesses on a postcard to our PO Box...

At least I hope they have. We have been less than inundated with entries and, whilst both that we have received were incorrect, we have appreciated the guesses.

...driving with a headlight on during the day!

It's very easy to forget to switch it off if you have been out driving the night before. However, the police consider this much worse than speeding, driving on the wrong side, dangerous driving, etc. etc.

It's a pity no-one won the prize, we had some old tatt we are trying to get rid of!
