Eventually we have found an internet cafe. I say 'found', we know lots of them, but they're far from where we are working, so it's the first time we've come out to try!
Today we had our second two hour Khmer class. In one lesson we covered numbers, time, buying at the market and our schedule for the day. Both of us are feeling a little overwhelmed and are wondering how we are possibly going to be able to manage retaining all these new words. After class, we went to a cafe that CfC are hoping to open to offer employment to locals. We worked with our bosses here to identify the things that need done to the premises before opening. While Jonny did some 'man's work' (measuring, etc), I went to the Elim day care centre and had a chance to see how things are there. I even got to paint a child's face - I think my skills rival Emma Logan's. Don't you?!!After lunch we went to visit Jantee in hospital. She had here operation yesterday. There was more involved in this than the doctor's initially had anticipated. However, today she looked like she was making a good recovery.Tonight we will go to a revision Khmer lesson for one hour, and then we hope to get to bed early because the 0530 start is being to take its toll!!!
