Today we took Katy to visit a friend of ours, Pat, who runs the work of Destiny Rescue in Phnom Penh. Pat told us about the variety of projects that Destiny is involved in and took us to one of the squatter villages in which many of the children they work with live. It was a very interesting morning.
This evening Katy taught her first English lesson. She did very well. One hour with a class of thirty is never easy - so we were very proud of her! Tomorrow we are back to work at Cafe Eden in the morning and CfC in the afternoon. In the evening we'll be heading out with some other ex-pats for some cheap and cheerful Indonesian food. Yummy!
