Our secondary school age children are now on holidays for two weeks. In an attempt to keep them entertained and out of mischief we have put together a schedule of activities. Tomorrow is sports day. Jonny, and a few other male staff members, have put together a sports competition that will include penalty shoot outs, limbo, tug-of-war, and various other silly games. Jill has offered extra English help for those year 12 students who are preparing for their finals next week. She's hoping, however, that the sports activities are so appealing that her services are not required and she'll have an easy afternoon. (Probably wishful thinking!)
The dads have arrived in Kampot. They phoned to say that their accommodation is good and that they have been eating well since they arrived. They've got a day trip planned for tomorrow and then they're hoping to get in a bit of reading and relaxation on Wednesday before they return to Phnom Penh on Thursday. We'll be sure to have a welcome party organised (well... we would have, if we had any free time!!! - they may have to content themselves with a smile and a cup of tea!). We'll also have purchased two paint brushes for them to use on Friday and Saturday!
