The dads met up with John and Ann Turner yesterday morning and had the opportunity see some of their work among the very poor in Phnom Penh city. They said they found the experience helpful in their gaining a greater understanding of Cambodian life.
Afterwards they met us (we'd been working at CfC), and we spent the remainder of the afternoon planning their few days away from Phnom Penh. Originally they had hoped to travel to Ho Chi Minh City. However, after traipsing round four travel agents together, we discovered that longer time was required to acquire a visa and so there was a necessity to amend their schedule.
Finally we purchased their bus tickets to Kampot (in south Cambodia), booked their hotel and even organised a hiking/biking day trip for during their stay. They leave tomorrow morning and will return to us on Thursday night. We have them scheduled in for some painting on Friday and Saturday, so we've warned them to get well rested!
