On Friday, we said goodbye at CfC to four of our young people who are moving on to alternative accommodation and further education, having completed their high school career. It was sad for us, as the CfC family, because they are great young people and have contributed a lot to CfC life. However, it'll be exciting to see how their lives develop from this point, as they embark on university courses and vocational training, and as they are empowered to make a positive impact on Cambodia in their own right. Jill will continue to meet with them several times a month, and they will be encouraged to stay in contact with their remaining family members at CfC, but this is a big new adventure for each of them.
Yesterday, we were delighted to attend a graduation ceremony for the same four young people, who have just completed a ten week summer Bible school. It was great to hear of their success from their lecturers and to see them interacting with their fellow students and exercising leadership in this context. Jonny and I felt like very proud parents!
