How long will the excuse last??

Here, in Cambodia, it is difficult to get good quality jam or honey. Both are available, but they are very expensive.

During the week I spent getting treatment in Thailand, I thought I would take the opportunity to visit a big supermarket. There I found some local honey that was affordable. It was in a plastic, squeezy tube, so I thought it would be light and easy to transport back to Phnom Penh.

Since then, I have been enjoying it on toast in the mornings.

Today, I encouraged Jonny to give it a try too. After he had applied the honey, he set the tube in front of me on the table. Jonny was in morning form, so conversation was minimal. I found myself reading the information on the back that waxed lyrical about the health benefits of this product. It then gave directions for use...

"Squeeze a small amount onto your hand. Mix with hot water. Apply to your face or any other area of dry skin. Leave for thirty minutes. Rinse."

I HAVE A HEAD INJURY! I AM NOT STUPID! STOP DESPAIRING JONNY! YOU ONLY ATE IT ONCE! I'VE HAD SIX SLICES OF TOAST'S WORTH!!
