A lady turned up at the gates of work today. She was looking for a girl she had met yesterday and wanted to follow up a conversation they had.
There was a little bit of confusion as we tried to work out which girl it was before we realised that she was at the wrong place and that the girl she was looking for wasn't one of ours.
So, anyway, we got chatting and she enquired about what we did. After a few minutes she declared that she would love to help us. She is now off to the market to buy clothes for our children and will return tonight with trousers and t-shirts for 25 of our youngest kids.
For reasons I can't go into on this blog it's been a tough few weeks, but the kindness of this lady this morning has been a real encouragement.
Encouragement can come from the most unexpected of sources. In this case, the lady ended up at our gate because of the poor directions she was given. Makes you wonder...
